Park Forest, IL


With just 12,000  residents in five square miles, Park Forest allows its citizens to experience a peaceful suburban lifestyle while still having access to the lights and bustle of the city. Chicago is easy to reach by car, and Metra service keeps residents of Park Forest well-connected to work and play in the Windy City. In addition to classic suburban amenities like shopping and restaurants, Park Forest has plenty of green space to enjoy. The hilly region is dotted with parks and borders Sauk Trail Woods, which is part of the Cook Country Forest Preserve. Hiking and cycling are popular on the Old Plank Trail through Park Forest to keep residents in touch with nature.

Thorn Creek Nature Preserve, located less than two miles from Westbridge, is one of the largest forested areas in northeastern Illinois and the fifth largest in the Illinois Nature Preserves System. Westbridge is also just a five-minute drive away from the Park Forest Aqua Center!
