With just 12,000  residents in five square miles, Park Forest allows its citizens to experience a peaceful suburban lifestyle while still having access to the lights and bustle of the city. The hilly region is dotted with parks and borders Sauk Trail Woods, which is part of the Cook Country Forest Preserve.
